Community Pantry

Thank you to all of our local supporters who make a huge difference in the lives of women and children by providing those essential pantry items.

Our community pantry was launched in December 2023 with the support of communities across the Southern Highlands. We are grateful for the very practical support this provides to women and children who are navigating domestic and family violence. Often our pantry is used to top up what they have already at home, but more often than not it’s the main source of groceries, personal and hygiene products.

This is what our community pantry looks like when full. It costs just $380 to fill the pantry and it will last for a week. Being open Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm it is depleted quickly as we're providing support for 25 to 30 women and children each week. This includes breakfast cereals, long life milk, frozen meals, school snacks, pet food, toilet paper, baby food and formula, tea, coffee, biscuits even personal and sanitary products.

If you are able to support our community pantry with donations please contact us on programs@popin.org.au or call 02 4872 1229.
