FREE EVENT - “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables”
Recognising the lives of women lost to gender based violence, each participant will paint a chair with the support of local artists and art therapists.
Join us for this exciting new art project, in preparation for the 16 Days of Activism with UNWomen.
Work shops commence 24th October on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in locations across the Southern Highlands.
The completed chairs will displayed across the Southern Highlands in November and December as part of Pop In’s 16 Days of Activism campaign.

Thriving Through Perimenopause: Strategies for Balanced Health
Join us for "Thriving Through Perimenopause", a supportive and informative event designed to empower women during the perimenopause transition. Our Guest MC - Beth McDonald and expert panel - featuring Women's Health Physiotherapist Sophie Carrol, Women's Health Nutritionist Kylie Bucich, Dr Natalie Jonker, and Personal Trainer Tam Kerr - will share insights on managing the physical, hormonal, and emotional changes of this life stage. Through discussion and Q&A, you'll gain practical tips on nutrition, exercise, and self-care, along with guidance on supporting your overall well-being. This is a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and connect with others on a similar journey, helping you feel confident and prepared for this phase of life.
This is a ticketed event with all proceeds donated to Pop In. Tickets are $25 each and include a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival plus canapes.

Sophie Carroll APAM Enlighten Physiotherapy
Sophie is a Physiotherapist with a Special Interest in Women’s Health based in the Southern Highlands, NSW with her husband and three daughters. After completing her tertiary education in both Medical Science and Physiotherapy, Sophie worked in the NSW public health sector before gaining experience internationally in both the United States and England.
Throughout her career, Sophie developed a strong interest in the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex and completed a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, followed by extensive further training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and a Professional Certificate in Prolapse Management from the University of South Australia. Enlighten Physiotherapy was developed when Sophie recognised a need in the Southern Highlands for a clinic focused on the unique requirements of women. Enlighten offers a quality and evidence-based physiotherapy service, empowering women in the Southern Highlands community to confidently take control of their own health.
Kylie Bucich The Everyday Essential
Kylie Bucich is a Nutritionist, Founder of The Everyday Essential, Creator of the 7-Day Body Reset, speaker, mama, wife, real food lover, and self-care advocate with over 12 years of experience, specialising in all aspects of women’s health.
Kylie supports women in reconnecting with their body's natural intelligence, reclaiming the driver's seat, and taking control of their health. Through her 7-Day Body Reset program and clinical nutrition advice, she simplifies health foundations so they can feel empowered without the overwhelm. Her approach is designed for women ready to prioritise themselves, with an emphasis on whole foods, rest, self-care, and movement to cultivate a strong, healthy body and a resilient mindset.
Tam Kerr Tam’s Tribe
Tam is a qualified Women’s Strength & Conditioning Coach specialising in menopause, older adults, and injury rehabilitation. With 17 years of experience in the women’s fitness and health field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her clients.
Collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, including doctors, sports doctors, and women’s health physiotherapists, Tam ensures her clients receive comprehensive and personalised care throughout every stage of life. Tam has a deep interest in pelvic health and pelvic injuries, backed by extensive knowledge and education in this field. She is passionate about teaching women about their anatomy and bodily functions, empowering them to choose exercise styles that are tailored to their individual needs during their different life phases.
Her passion lies in educating women about safe and effective strength training, tailored to enhance bone density, muscle mass, self-confidence, and mental well-being. Tam is dedicated to helping women embrace strength training, enjoy movement, and prioritise self-care.
Dr Natalie Jonker
Dr Natalie Jonker graduated with Honours from Sydney University in 2003 and has a fellowship in General Practice with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.
Natalie has a particular interest in Women’s Health including endocrine/hormonal conditions and menopause, and Paediatrics and Chronic diseases including Diabetes. With a varied career ranging from Royal Prince Alfred & John Hunter Hospitals and critical care for a year at Nepean Hospital with an interest in anaesthetics, she now focuses on General Practice and loves to run on time!
Natalie and her family, 3 children and a much-loved cat have been Southern Highlands locals since 2012.
